How do I create an NumisArt account?

1. Digital Currency (BNB)

1. BNB is a native coin for Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

2. BNB will be use as gas fee for all transaction, which include Minting NFT, Purchase NFT, List NFT, Bid NFT.

3. For minting NFT you need 1 coin and 1 minting token, BNB as gas fee (coin), and USDT/USDC/BUSD/DAI as minting token.

Now that you have BNB, let's get a crypto wallet.

2. Crypto Wallet

A crypto wallet, such as MetaMask, stores your BNB and processes transactions on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). A unique wallet address will be generated for you, and you'll use this address to complete transactions.

All transactions connected to your wallet address can be found on https://bscscan.com/, an independent blockchain explorer.

Why do I need a wallet before buying and selling on NumisArt?

NumisArt is a tool you use to interact with the blockchain. We never take possession of your items or store your NFTs. Instead, we provide a system for peer-to-peer exchanges. Since you’ll be using NumisArt to interact directly with others on the blockchain, you’ll need a wallet to help you turn your actions in the browser into transactions on the blockchain. Now that you have a crypto wallet installed, you can connect your wallet address to NumisArt.

3. Connecting to NumisArt

Let's connect your wallet to NumisArt and edit your profile so you're ready to begin interacting on our platform. Navigate to numisart.io, head to the top-right Connect Wallet.

You will then be prompted to add BSC Network to your Metamask. Navigate to Metamask and install MetaMask to your browser if you are using desktop computer, download and install App from App Store or Play Store to your phone. Click the "burger icon" on the top right and navigate to Settings > Networks > Add a network. Follow the setting to setup BSC Network.

Settings :

1. Network Name : Binance Smart Chain

2. New RPC URL : https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org

3. Chain ID : 56

4. Currency Symbol : BNB

5. Block Explorer URL : https://bscscan.com

Once you setup the correct BSC Network, you should see this screen as below :

Click "Connect Wallet" on top right of numisart.io, Metamask Notification will prompt, Make sure you select the correct BNB account and click Next.

Click Connect when you see this screen, When you see "Connecting..." NumisArt to your wallet, you're almost done :

If you'd like to change your username, profile picture and profile background, click the pencil edit icon on the right side of each section.

Now you can customize your profile photo, background and username.

If you ever have trouble viewing your items, make sure your wallet is connected correctly. NumisArt is a window into your wallet address, showing all the NFTs inside.
